She Just Was

She was different, different in a way that made her stand out from the crowd, due to the fact that she refused to water herself down, the right people will always gravitate she told herself. She was an all or nothing type of person because she believed that if you didn't want her at her worst you definitely didn't deserve her at her best. She was odd, fairly strange even. She spoke from the heart and you could hear her soul as it spilled out, carefully intertwined within each word demanding its presence, demanding to be felt. She felt deeply of course, deeply being a complete understatement really.... She was tricky, uncharted territory, a compass without a point. No one hardly knew what she would say or do next and she was positively unpredictable! She couldn't have it any other way. She was a whole party inside of a person. A contagious energy that wasn't easily matched because she wasn't cut from just any old cloth. A savage soul with a heart of gold. She had always stood out, good or bad she never wasted her own time to find out why, she just rode the wave. She never cared what anyone's thoughts were of her. She simply loved life! The good, the bad and every bit of the ugly. She never held back, she was silly and carefree and always spoke feelings into words because kindness was still free and hate will always be ugly. She believed with every thing she had that sometime, some-thing good was coming for her, just biding its time. She could just feel it in every bit of her soul, so she chased it and she let it fuel her. The easy road isn't filled with success stories, if you keep cutting corners you might miss a door. If you want your dreams bad enough you gotta realize that the only limits are the ones you place upon yourself. Be so unapologetically yourself that it turns heads, beats hearts and stops paths. But the one thing you can bet is that she's damn sure NOT giving up. Shes on the war path, stand aside, not that you could stop her if you tried.
