Value

                                     Value

So many people in so many ways,

So many a day wasted by so many fails,

Failing this world are the lies we create,

Told by fables giving way to laments,

            Lamenting the soul not living

Life at it’s full; cremations of roles

Played by actors to cull.

            Spark,

                        Spark,

                                    Spark!

Two ticks, tick tock – time starts now,

But I’m grieving on casualties still bearing

            A frown,

Those chaste people’s little feet toeing

Traditional lines,

Created for followers not knowing

Their minds;

                        The herd seek to follow

                                    The herd seek to follow,

Following rules disimpassioned of life.

Life life mentioned twice but dreams

Are not dreams unless reality bites,

Bites like a hound following lazy a fool,

Sitting idle of living the wish they deny,

But dreams can be lived – if in forgiving

                                                            Deceit,

You grow like a God bigging freedoms that give,

Giving’s not easy while conjuring alchemy’s bribe;-

Hiding a falsehood that’s corrupting all kinds.

What you required in earnest placed

Your life in its box,

Shocked by inadequacies ‘others’

Begged you believe, thrown like

White elephants in metal and rock.

            Stop,

                        Stop,

                                    Stop,

Stop what you’re doing and think of the beacons,

Beacons that flash,

Beacons that glow while passing them by,

You fail in your courage an acknowledging while,

A while with the dandy, bold and the brave,

            Accepting all equals as human,

            All humans as equal,

There in your vision -

Not in dimly lit caves.

            We all have a light,

Shining in truth,

We are all but a spark

That conducts our own tune,

The melody sings each song in its prayer,

Leaving the host for people to share.

            Tick

                        Tock,

                                    Tick,

                                                Tock!

Think for a moment for the rest of your life,

Think of a value that equals the Earth,

An Earth worth a human that is not selfish of mind,

But treasures the borrowing of time,

Treasures the salute of human,

A sacred in yearning for meeting the being,

That can pass on a greeting by

An alien smile.

Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle,

The dish ran away with the spoon,

The little dog laughed, to see such fun,

And the alien shed tears on the moon!
