Lost Love I miss You My Glasgow Girl

Love lost

I lost myself today

Or maybe yesterday.

I walk these streets of grey

Unable to stop and stay.

I look upon your face

And feel lost loves disgrace.

I wander why you smile

As I wander mile upon mile.

The dishonesty in my head

Lays me down on liars bed.

I want to slash and burn

As I see the filth and turn.

Death walks alongside, a shade.

A shade lost in life made.

Taken slowly as breath deserts

Beauty slips as shadow hurts.

She killed me once

With a few spoken words.

Flowing from her mouth

Like the barrel of a gun.

I miss her, I miss her,

There’s nothing to be done

She shot me with words

I had no place to run.
