A female being bullied and persecuted by the press,

I thought at first,the damage  inflicted they couldn't care less.

I thought the poor woman is being attacked while ill.

Criticising Dominic Cummings flouting lockdown was top of her bill.

 

Cummings drove to his family in lockdown up home,

But she on a train journey from London to Glasgow did roam.

She got her nails done,shopped for sweets and went to the gym,

Having tested positive to the virus,in sharp contrast to him.

 

It's like comparing a parking offence to a drink driver,

Resigining might be a lower priority than being a survivor.

Something not helped by having the nation on her back.

Only her constituents have the power of giving her the sack.

 

She will keep drawing her pay until the next election,

Then it will be up to her constituents to decide whether she is fit for re election

She is hanging on to her crusty job,

In isolation,appologising to her disgruntled mob.

 

There are 82 thousand reasons why this lady won't quit,

While on the train to Glasgow spreading covid.

I felt sorry for the mistakes she carried out,

But you acted irresponsibly and the  rules you did flout.

 

She appologised profusely for travelling with covid during the week,

But I think a new member of Parliament her constituents must seek.
