The Burden

My parents gave me 
Shit-tons of kindness

I got so much of it
I can’t monetize it

I mostly just 
Give it away

Sometimes I use it up 
With difficult people
 
Sometimes on a Tuesday 
I go through three packs 

But there’s so much left
That I’ve been dropping it off

In places over the years
Other people get into it

And I go back 
And it’s still there
