Lamentation from a Field of Broken Dreams

Here I stand in my lonely field of dreams

The grass withered, parched and brown

I turn and gaze at the fence over which I jumped

And see the grass looks greener over there

Where are you when I need to share this field?

To bring it to life with love and care

Where are you when I need to feel arms around me?

When I need someone to tell me it's alright.

When I need someone to care?
