"I am no longer a letter box, coronavirus has changed a vile veil attitude."

"The coronavirus face mask ruling has changed my life,

I am no longer regarded by others as a persecuted wife.

I am no longer seen as an outcast or a security threat,

Whenever I used to go shopping many a vile comment I did get.

A change has come about when everyone is masked,

Entering a public place,to wear one you are asked.

No-one says a word about my veil at all,

Now I wear it and feel empowered and stand tall.

My husband has never said I have to wear it,it's my own choice,

People used to say  they couldn't see my expression or understand my voice.

My veil is optional,it is for my protection and security from the evil eyed,

A mask now covers faces for protection worlwide.

In Turkey my husband and children were cooling off in the sea,

I sacrificed discarding my clothes  for a better hereafter for me.

I am not afraid to show my face,

But I listen to the commands of Alah in grace.

Women who do not wear the veil are not rejected,

But a different level of paradise into them will be injected.

Alah is the judge of our good or bad actions,

And on our different levels of modesty formulates his reactions.

Have you ever asked a woman who wears a veil how she feels?

It is a blessing from Alah and to us women appeals.

And now he has made the whole world accept us,

Due to us all covering our faces fighting coronavirus."
