depressing shades of grey

the drab colour of the sky

reflecting my mindset today

 

Bleak, glum, grim, gloomy

weather affecting my mood

grey clouds bring grey days

feeling listless and subdued

 

I dream of

 

Light, white, fluffy clouds

floating on a bright blue sky

a warm, gentle, light breeze

wafting those blues goodbye

 

Clear, bright, sunny, cheery

sunshine I need and desire

to reignite my spark for life

to relight my flame and my fire
