Poisoned ivy

A banquet well laid

For welcoming the lost sheep

On return everyone was

Pretended happy

The king and his daughter

Both were a victim

On the table was served

Lovely dishes of poisoned ivy

Daily a celebration took

Slowly the ivy worked

On choking the daughter first

She whispered sigh of relief

And then a tombstone was prepared

Where they threw the daughter

In early dingy well dug abbey

Beautifully written! The fact that you managed to add such a rattling plot twist in a poem as concise as this is truly commendable.
