What a statement

From my experience

And there's plenty of it

No one really wants to drown

We're either looking for the life guard

Or running away from land

Desperately

 

I elected to drown in you

I chose this path 

I felt you

Saw you 

And ran head first

Pleading 

But is it really a choice 

Or  magnetism at its finest 

 

You compel me

Not you, you

Not the subject

Of the sentence 

You aren't trying

You aren't verbing

You the being

You the object  

 

Your existence

Is my driving force

I am dying to drown in you

I am tearing myself apart

Molecule by molecule 

Because any speck of me 

Not marked by you

Is not enough 

 

I want you to pervade my being

To consume me

Surround me

And change me

Like the ocean

Carry me away

Make me

Entirely lost in you
