You're always home - always around...
never heard so darn much daytime sound
I sneak in the kitchen hoping for a crumb,
but you sweep the floor till I fall down, numb

That's my part of the living room couch,
you plop your size 16 butt down - ouch!!
So I go lay in the chair, seeking quiet there -
you start snoring like a beach ball losing air

No social distancing happening today,
I just plain sneak far away to lay
Then you decide you need to redo bed
and plop a hard pillow on my little head

How long, oh how long will this stuff last?
It is so far from being a real fun blast
Go to work, oh, please, go somewhere
Your company is more than a cat can bear
