We have to make some changes, and this is a wake up call,

And please don't think me brash for saying this, or rude,

But if you think it's bad watching adults fight for toilet roll?

Then wait until you see them fight for food,

We just can't continue to consume as if it's endless,

To want, want, want, and be told that it's alright,

To have a thousand, "Facebook friends," but, "Face to face," be friendless,

To say we're moneys master, then be it's acolyte,

The Cree once said that money can't be eaten,

But that we'd only realise this when all else was gone,

And the truth is a bitter pill no platitude can sweeten,

Those simple words of wisdom are disputed by none,

And now, right now, while you've got time to contemplate,

That the words of the Cree are true for everyone,

Take a long hard look at the crap that you accumulate,

And evaluate your actual needs for life to carry on.
