Putting 'pen to paper' and reflecting on my inner most thoughts through rhyme. <3

On Mothers' Day. (3/4/2011) It’s Mothers Day today, and as always I think of you & all the love you showed me, the hugs and kisses too See, you were just like the Mum that I wanted so bad You shared with me my smiles, and held me when I was sad I didn’t have to ask, I always knew that you’d be there Until the day God called you home, that pain too much to bear My world felt like it had, just come crashing down How could I face life, without you always around? On Earth I told you I loved you, as you sleep I will too You did not die…you’re here with me, in everything I do I still see your face, touch your hands, and speak with you a while It might only be a dream, but the reality is in your smile So ‘Farewell’ for now, it will never be ‘Goodbye’ from me As one day we will reunite, and for now, I’ll see you in my dreams
