Biography

Born in Hell's Kitchen with a love for the diversity of my people. Displaced by big business building the third tube of the Lincoln Tunnel.

Island

The Mega Walls of Gracie Square mental wards, The blinds are bare in my prison walls— Beyond is a beautiful spring day Within the horror of a bad dream. Branches tenderly bend in the soft breezes Budding lilacs unfurling. The sun smiles on creation— A sweet benediction upon earth. My heart drowned by the sap of memories. The sun bounces off tree limbs While darkness reflects Buried in a winter's chill.
