Biography

Artist/poetess & romanticist, I love poetry, painting, folklore, home and hearth, the ancient, fairy tales, the celts & taking baths. Also black haired, orb eyed bohemian, lace dresses and velvet jackets and Celtic brooches, oh second hand dresses, composition books in Morris patterns, little wooden stereo and botanical perfume, my sea melodies cards, I love the wild sea, writing a poetry book ‘mythos’, pre raphaelites lover, adore the uk and Eire, lived in Budapest that creative little city, siren souled, mythic, dark bride. My poetic interests are ; mythic poetry, mystical poetry, madness and poetry, Celtic poetry, Cecil Day Lewis, his life and work, poetry in traditional and tribal societies, Ancient poetry, poetic rites, Hungarian women’s poetry, Russian Women’s poetry, Classical Persian poetry, poetry within witchery [im not a witch], stream of consciousness poetry, writing rituals and H.D’s poetry. My favourite poet at the moment is Neruda. Socrates who said; ‘If a man comes to the door of poetry untouched by the madness of the Muses, believing that technique alone will make him a good poet, he and his sane compositions never reach perfection, but are utterly eclipsed by the performances of the inspired madman.’

Poetics.

The first request of that body of stars From cursed light and clarity of day What spirals now will spiral forever On and on goes the spinning top the ancient lore of those witches The thread of that first rite Erebus before he made his arrangements Before you could climb La Scala Contarini del Bovolo and see running in the dark toward reason you who could shoot souls into each living one She who calls death back and forth Finding me now with the last candle in the tenebra.
