I am a graduate from the University of Nottingham, with an LLB degree in law. Writing was something I fell in love with from the minute I developed the motor skills to do so; I wrote poems, plays, over-dramatic diary entries, short stories... you name it. As I grew up, writing evolved to become an escape from trauma, a way for me to deal with and process the things I struggled with, and a way for me to calm my over-active imagination and racing mind. I've always had a gob on me and been a mouthy, opinionated girl, but as I grew up I found that writing could also help me understand myself, my emotions and my vulnerability more profoundly. I've been published in publications such as HerCampus, I'm Not From London and LeftLion.
