Biography
Hello I'm Lee, I've been writing poetry for around 25 years and write mainly in couplet and free verse. I've been writing silly poems for children from around 2020 which have been very well received. I'm from York originally but now live in Normanton, West Yorkshire with my Wife Sarah.
The Hippo's Dance
A Hippo danced in his underpants while a Monkey Ironed his socks, a big friendly Tiger got scared by a Spider who sat fixing one of his clocks, he said 'see you later' to a pink Alligator who baked him a cake for his tea, and gave a blue carrot to a very tall Parrot, who got himself stuck up a tree, a cow went 'quack' as he laid on his back eating ice cream with a spoon, and a hyena laughed at a skating Giraffe, then they all danced around in the room.
