I am coming back to you For no good reason Eyes wide open, empty hands To kill time On a meaningless journey We have been estranged for a long while Connecting sporadically in futile thoughts This insistency in deifying you Made me a non-believer You are no religion No existential prerogative No calling, no mystery, no salvation You see I am coming back to you For no good reason
