Biography

I have been writing since I was young and continued through my adolescence years with a brief rest period in my early 20s. I am now becoming more confident in my writing to where I'd like to share with other poetry lovers. My poems are made to relate to others on an in depth level of understanding. Creating connections with others to show we are not alone.

Broken

Breaking bonds formed through time In mere moments broken We throw it all away for one moment to say Words we should've left unspoken In a flash the flames were fed by the words soon filled with regret Slowly watched it end in naught Realizing there was nothing left Pride casts its spell upon those who refuse To look inside to recognize their egos bloomed Feeding the shallow youll soon be left hollowed as your heart has been fully consumed Superficial brains only run so deep they never deal with their pain Taking it out on others they'll soon discover There was nothing left here to gain So many chances were had Falling flat each time Tired of the repeat you'll soon have to reap The sewing words of your crime They walk away never to return actions seem to rhyme In a moments notice you realized you've broken their hearts for the last and final time. @poetry_by_amy
