Blossom and dry. Clammy, heavy, deep respiration. Take A Deep Breath. Close your eyes. The screens are still there. Smart, startling, dangling, staring. Hang in there. Watch for thorns. Your rose will blossom, and dry. Your blood will dry on the hands of neighbors, Picking fruits from that bush by the fence, Wiping the sweat from their brows, Digging deep in to the ground, As if no one will notice, or know, What's buried below. Dried roots for tea time. Dandelion wine. Vaped tobacco and herbs. Mints for dry, burnt, hell, Acetic breath. Red Bull. Hey, take a deep breath. Close your fists. Open your eyes. It's Tuesday again. Almost Wednesday. You tried to let these thoughts go Monday. The lights are out. It's storming. Screens still streaming Shocking, senseless, tv, desperate deprivation. Tomorrow is another day.
