The November event at The Works’ Canteen features guest poets Simon Fletcher and Greg Freeman in another night of spoken word entertainment at the Black Country Living Museum.
Simon Fletcher is the manager of Offa’s Press and Greg Freeman is the news editor for the poetry website Write Out Loud, and they are both fine and entertaining poets in their own right.
The evening will be hosted by MC Dave Reeves (who bellows), the squeezebox wielding poet-in-residence at the Black Country Living Museum.
As well as the guest poets, there’ll be some great new material from our regular contributors, and plenty of opportunity to book an open mic spot on the night if you are interested in taking part yourself.
Join us to read your own work or to just listen to some excellent spoken word entertainment and music in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the museum’s Rolfe Street Café, where everyone will find a friendly welcome and a great night out at The Works’ Canteen.
Price: £3.00
Time: 7.00pm for 7.30
