LOL, InshaAllah takes a look at the complexities and contradictions, yet also the ease and joviality which comes with being a brown Muslim woman who is forthright about her faith in Britain today.
Based in Suhaiymah’s own experiences the performance provokes, unsettles and asks us to break binaries of moderate/radical, extreme/liberal, oppressed/oppressor and explore the potential of our humanity.
The Last Word returns to the Roundhouse for two weeks and a half-week of bold performances from established and emerging spoken word artists.
