Mole Valley Poets - Sofa Poet

A monthly meeting on the last Monday of the month (or the following Monday when Bank Holidays interfere) in which the first half of the evening is a lead discussion of a poet, a school of poetry or some other aspect of poetry and the second half of the evening is a workshop session for poems submitted by members. Non member guests are welcome. The group also run open mic and 'sofa poet' events from time to time.

A special evening with Robert Hampson 'on our sofa' Robert will talk about his work,
discuss pushing boundaries in poetry (reference a new movement he has been promoting), read some of his work and lead an exercise around "Constructing as Expression" involving scissors and paper/magazine articles!!
