THROUGH THE MIRROR

THROUGH THE MIRROR

 

The mirror stands on the north wall of the ancient dusty mansion.

Its glass surface is pitted and marked from three centuries of use,

the frame is gilded silver inlaid with rubies and emeralds.

If you look into the mirror you will see only yourself

but if you look straight through you will see another world.
