Living in a wasteland
Decades have passed.
The world has changed,
along with its people.
It no longer brings joy to my heart,
as it did in my time.
All because of them.
What happened to the days,
when the only thing one could do during a lovely day
was to step out the front door and pamper one's self
with the five senses that Mother Nature had provided?
