pages

            in the pages of time

            inscribed upon the velum

            of argent skin sheer

            is her narcissistic life

            of dark immortality

Her elegant movement of hand, infuses her script with graceful strokes of purpose. Her cantillating voice, a casting of spell; the binding of eyes to the page; to the ink, that of blood, blotted an...

Of our lives, and of our meeting

Of all the schemes of destiny

It is that moment that, is most fleeting

And of our fate, there is no perceiving

Of what will come, or what will be

Of our lives and of our meeting

And in the grandest, scheme of things

And when of chance, fate does select

It is that moment that, is most fleeting

And in our elation, of rej...

Effigy

Moonlight robes your skin; so melancholic

Hauteur of beauty airs within your grace

To deny the sight; is sophomoric

As eyes bare down to burn upon my face

Ill fortune compels me to your bidding

Your countenance agaze across the land

To subjugate all into believing

That freedom is the gesture in your hand

Your effigy of life, stands resplendent

Suffused amid...

Zippered

the scar long, lasts

zippered to the flesh

lily white and encumbered

emotions leech glutted,

save for the dross

head down and unable.

To become something

That was never me

Verities gown

Through graven eyes,

peers the chivalry of love

Verities gown; to adorn your desire

Oft held, in reach of fervors fleeting glance

That discreetness; be perceived by silence

taut upon the lips and ears of many

Though desire was not spoken, but

held within the virtue of true love

Cleaved to, adored within

the beat of hearts passionate embrace

Veracity though; be a be...

The gathering of crows

My minds grasp, for sleep

tolls heavy on my sanity, as

insidious eyes; pry, their beaks foul

in the fissures of my mind

fears creep; freed, to be fed upon

to be mantled by the feathered wings

of darkness

night-tide rises; the gathering of crows

drags me deep,

into the belief, of paranoia

Dedicated to, and influenced by Emily Dickinson:

Their eyes see nothing - of our minds

Or the voices heard inside

As silence sleeps - upon our tongues

Where the hidden truth does lie -

We spoke belief of destiny - and -

Why our paths - had crossed

And of the hidden truth - that lies

In the present and the past

That truth is in our sile...

Hare’s death

I remember death

The hounding of life;

the moving into stillness

The pounding presence

of reality

Then the;

quite in the stillness

The ringing of ears

The fill of anxiety;

the hack of the flesh

The dripping of time

congealed in my blood
