Given Time
Our song plays on the radio,
as I learn that I still have tears to give.
My heart is on the mend,
and I'm starting to move on.
I've finally gotten you back...
the timing couldn't have been better.
One lesson learned the hard way,
I'll need your help if I'm to trust again.
I can't promise happily ever after,
but I can promise that I'll try
to make you happy now...
