The Prestwich Book Festival is pleased to support this night of poetry - with some comedy thrown in - to raise funds night for supporter-owned football club FC United of Manchester. Hosted by the incomparable Gordon Zola, the smiling Salford assassin, fresh from his recent triumphant appearance at Vocabaret.
With guests:
Dave Viney - Deadpan and highly talented Stretford poet, part of the hugely successful Working Verse Collective and a rising star of The North-West and national poetry scene.
Kieren King - another part of Working Verse, Kieren is a witty and erudite wordsmith with a disarming grin. His star is also rising, due West of Uranus.
James Quinn - the man with the golden voice, much funnier than DS Willets
John Darwin - Prestwich bumbler, morose boozer, occasional smiler
Limited open mic on the night.
