On Thursday 13 June, from 6pm, David Gaffney will be launching his fifth book, More Sawn-off Tales (Salt Publishing), in Manchester. To celebrate, David will read some of the new 150-word stories from the collection, and Gregory Norminton will read from his new book of short fiction, Thumbnails. The event will be introduced by Salt Prize-winning micro fiction writer Sarah-Clare Conlon and we'll also be entertained by a unique spoken word DJ set from two-fifths of Monkeys In Love and drink some Barefoot Wine, all in the lovely environs of the Northern Quarter's Icelandic-inspired cafe, Takk. What's not to like? Pop it in your diary...
