A Cornish & Welsh Evening with Tit ha Tavas
An evening of words and music starring the Cornish language Kernewek - with a tasty serving of Welsh alongside.!
Tir ha Tavas (Dee and Dave Brotherton) and special guests present their personal choice of prose, poetry and song in the old tongue, a language almost lost in the mists of time, but which has been revived and that lives on in the daily life of West Penwith and beyond.
The Celtic language of Cornwall is once more being embraced as a symbol of her historic past, grown from ancient roots yet ever changing in the hands of the next generation who cherish the old culture and nourish the new and take strength from their Celtic cousins in Wales. .
