Aaron Kent, Vinny McHugh and Jerome Dennis

Aaron Kent is a spoken word artist from Truro. He always had an interest in poetry but didn’t branch out of the written word into performance until he was 23, when he decided to take the words from the page and onto the stage. He has subsequently performed at places such as Port Eliot festival and Hall for Cornwall and was featured as one of MyCornwall's '30 under 30'. Author Adam Bradle said that Aaron has “the revolutionary spirit of KRS-One with a cadence that's one part Allen Ginsberg, one part Talib Kweli.” You can find out more at: aaronkent.bandcamp.com and facebook.com/aaronkentpoetry

Vinny McHugh is a Performance Poet from Newcastle upon Tyne. His work blends humour, heartbreak and alliteration. He is an active member of a poetry collective based in Falmouth where his distinctive delivery and relentless rhymes will take you from laughing to crying and back again.

Jerome Dennis has been writing poetry since he was 16, originally inspired by aspects of both Beat and Romantic poetry. For the past three years he has studied English with Creative Writing at Falmouth University, exploring different avenues and approaches to poetry. As one of the founders of Jam poetry and performance collective, Jerome has been an active member of the Falmouth poetry scene for the last two years, performing both poetry and music.
