Fox Populi takes poetry on a hilarious, Creature Comforts-style journey through the crackly airwaves of contemporary culture. Radio-mic in hand, Kate Fox listens in on comedians and psychiatrists, Great North runners and nutters, lovers and losers. Former honorary Lit & Phil member Harriet Martineau is also celebrated in a sequence that juxtaposes 1845 mesmerisation in Tynemouth with a Silverlink call centre. Pop themed refreshments and book discounts available.
