Adam HorovitzAdam Horovitz is a poet, journalist and editor. He was born in 1971 in London and raised in Stroud, Gloucestershire. He has written poetry since childhood but started to take it seriously in his early 20s, becoming involved in the performance poetry scene and appearing at various festivals, including Glastonbury and Cheltenham Literature Festival. He also took part in the inaugural Days of Poetry and Wine Festival in Slovenia in 1996.
His poetry has appeared in a number of magazines, including Acumen, Tears in the Fence, SAW, Tellus, Fourth World Review, Hand + Star and New Departures. He has also been published in a number of anthologies, including The Orange Dove of Fiji (Hutchinson, 1989), The Bristol Slam Anthology (Pimps of the Alphabet, 1997), Oral (Sceptre, 1999) and Asking a Shadow to Dance (Oxfam DVD, 2009).

Paul David Beard: Once described as Provocative, Daring and Bold. A writer who began a relationship with spoken word not out of choice makes an exciting return to Freeway Poets. This performance is designed to defy convention and supply re-invention at every turn (possibly) in order to experiment and explore the true nature, relevance and power of spoken word artistry.
Anathema: A beautiful and thought provoking Poet, she is stunning in words and looks... it is a pleasure to have her as a guest at Freeway, Anathema has such a style and emotion to her poetry that it fills your soul with its imagery.
