Talking Poetry

The Bluecoat Library
A new monthly series that explores a wide range of poetry through contemporary and archival recordings on vinyl, audiotape, CD and downloads. Come along and listen to some of the great poetic voices, from Sylvia Plath to Lynton Kwesi Johnson, Elizabeth Jennings to Lord Buckley, Dame Edith Sitwell to Adrian Mitchell, as well as obscure gems.
Presented by Alex Scott-Samuel, Bryan Biggs and Dave Ward in the comfortable and friendly surroundings of the Library at the Bluecoat, there will be an opportunity to discuss the readings and you can bring your own favouries along too.
