Poetry and music with special guest poet and poetry promoter Brian Wake reading from his latest collection, Etcetera, and recalling memorable and often humorous meetings he had with some of the internationally acclaimed guests he introduced to Merseyside audiences over many years. It has been said that he is something of a poet's poet. Brian Patten wrote: "Brian Wake's voice is uniquely his own, a poetic voice that's grown in strength and craftsmanship over forty years of writing...Internal rhymes surprise and hold together beautifully crafted poems that never seem forced."
There will also be live music from The Crewetons.
