VAHNI CAPILDEO's poetry has been widely anthologized. She teaches at the University of Glasgow and is a Contributing Editor for the Carribean Review of Books. Her first collection, No Traveller Returns, was published by Salt in 2003; her second collection, Undraining Sea, in 2005. She was Highly Commended in the Forward Prize in 2009. Dark and Unaccustomed Words is just published; a fourth collection, Utter, is forthcoming.
She will be reading with Inge Milfull and Micalef as part of The Sounds of Surprise poetry month at the Albion Beatnik Bookstore.
