Poetry Parnassus - Banipal Reading hosted by John Paul O'Neill
As part of this week's Poetry Parnassus extravaganza at the Southbank Centre Banipal Magazine are holding a FREE celebration reading in the Clore Ballroom. Three poets who've featured in Banipal will be reading in Arabic and the English translations of their work that have been published in the magazine will also be read. The poets: Iman Mersa,l (Egypt), Hassan al Ouzzani, (Morocco) & Amjad Nasser, Jordan. With English readings by host John Paul O'Neill and Margaret Obank, Banipal's publisher & others tbc.
