Poets, performers and spectators are welcome to the cosy intimate surroundings of the upstairs bar at Union Mash Up on Princes Avenue, Hull.
Come along and perform your poetry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The evening will incorporate the launch of "Incandescent Poetry" book issue one and contributors to the book will read their work at the open mic.
The bar/restaurant is owned by ex Beautiful South drummer Dave Stead and he is keen to promote local arts and performers.
We hope this will become a regular poetry open mic night to complement (and compliment) the Fresh Ink events already in existence.
