The third of our 2012 Thursday series showcases the poetry of Hugh Dunkerley (right) and Gary Goodman, two of Sussex's favourite poets.

Hugh is highly regarded for an ecological poetry which highlights man's changing relationship with nature, nimbly combining its sharp and beautiful imagery with scathing social observation.

Gary Goodman is a painter and poet well known for his enthralling performances of verse which combines hilarity and existential angst.

Hosted by the lovely Robin Lawley with world beats and funky treats from D.J. Slap Ed.

Standing room only at last month's event, so do try to arrive early.

What they've been saying about Pighog Thursdays:

"Loved Robin's dry wit, Katy's breadth of vision, Amy's chilling close to the evening and of course, Slap Ed's utterly perfect taste in music." - Jackie Wills, author, Commandments & Fever Tree

"It was a great night, a wonderful atmosphere, and great fun. Loved reading for such a friendly audience! And the music was perfect." - Katy Evans-Bush, author, Me and the Dead & Egg Printing Explained

Entry: £5 / £3 concs.

Time: 7:30pm
