Paragram presents an evening of poetry and prose, featuring Agnes Meadows and Sara-Mae Tuson, plus open mic. Agnes Meadows is a London-based performance poet, who has toured nationally and internationally, giving readings, workshops, and residencies all over the world. She has published five collections, the last three published by Flipped Eye/Waterways (Woman, At Damascus Gate on Good Friday, and This One Is For You). For the past seven years she has run Loose Muse, London’s premiere women’s writers night at the Poetry Café in Covent Garden.
Sara-Mae Tuson was the first female editor of the London Magazine. She is managing editor of New Trespass magazine, a member of the editorial board of Loose Muse, and writes music with her band Scarlet Starlings (www.reverbnation.com/scarletstarlings).
There will be open mic slots of five minutes each for anyone who would like to read some of their writing to a friendly, knowledgeable audience. Join us for an evening of reading, listening, and cake!
