A poetry writing workshop on the theme: DOORS. In this workshop, we invite participants to reflect on opening, closing, beginning and ending as we approach the last month of the year. “When one door closes, another one opens” goes the old saying – but what or who is on the other side the door? In the course of this workshop we will spend some of our time in creating short poems to populate 24 small doorways that can be opened by Chester Library between 1st and 24th December. We will look at various poems on the theme of doors to stimulate our ideas and get us writing.
