Slam Poetry is a tournament of performance poetry.
Laymen and laywomen get up on stage and assert their creative rights by reading out loud their work. A panel of impartial juries score them all along the night. The owners of the best scores go in final, leaving the audience through the judges masters of their destiny!!
...Moreover we are changing the course of the entertainment history by altering democratically the rules of Slam Poetry.
Indeed, the Dreading Poetry Slam is a forum to change one's destiny be it with the writing of words or mastering the art of claps and cheering, but most of all, this is the place where the audience is involved.
To conclude, if you have no talent for words but skills to perform, come, hear but do not compete.
You are all invited to Think of other ways to make the Slam yours....
