If you've ever been to Bang Said The Gun (BSTG) and left feeling like you haven’t heard enough from either Rob Auton or Dan Cockrill, then this Wednesday is your opportunity to remedy that!
Dan Cockrill delivers poignant and irreverent poetic anecdotes with an elegant simplicity. His poems deal with big, big subjects in beautifully bold ways.
Robert Auton has ideas and sees if other people like those ideas by writing them down, standing up on stage, and saying them out loud. Invariably, people like those ideas and demonstrate their appreciation with deep belly laughs.
BSTG is described as a poetry night for those who don’t like poetry, so who better to accompany the BSTG boys than Jill Abram whose witty and entertaining poems appeal to those who think they don’t like poetry as well as those who know they do.
PLUS (as if that wasn’t enough!)
• DJ Carl D on the decks;
• Tasters from next month’s flavours;
• OPEN MIC SPOTS; and
• All of the above will be seamlessly stitched together jointly by ANNA LE and WILL STOPHA.
