SPECIAL GUEST WRITERS: PAM THOMPSON, WILL BUCKIINGHAM, MYRA CONNELL & MARK GOODWIN
Pam Thompson is one of the organisers of Word!, Leicester’s longest running spoken word, open-mic night which takes place every month at The Y and her latest collection is The Japan Quiz published by Redbeck Press.
Will Buckingham writes fiction and philosophy. His novel, Cargo Fever is published by Tindal Street Press and he has a philosophy book called Finding Our Sea-Legs. He also writes books for children; The Snorgh and the Sailor will be published by Alison Green books in 2012.
Myra Connell’s recent pamphlet, From the Boat, was published by Nine Arches Press in 2008. Her poems have appeared in various magazines, and her short stories in two collections from Tindal Street Press, Her Majesty and Are You She?
Mark Goodwin is a Leicestershire poet with a fine growing reputation for serious landscape poems, with two collections published by Shearsman Books. Mark also has his odd and naughty book Shod, published by Nine Arches Press.
