'Utter!' Sickness

This event on 1st February 2011 at 19:30 has past.

The long-awaited debut one-man show from poet and "ringmaster of spoken word" (ThreeWeeks), Richard Tyrone Jones. 'Richard Tyrone Jones Has a Big Heart' relates his near-near death experience of dilated cardiomyopathy - heart failure - through a series of darkly humorous anecdotes, interspersed with rhythmic, philosophical but accessible spoken word pieces exploring what it means to be alive, in pain, human and imperfect.

Plus Niall Spooner-Harvey, UK Slam champion, with poems from his book 'Only Not Walking', and Fay Roberts, winner of the last 'Utter!' Paid Gig contest. Hosted by slam-winner Mark Niel, of Tongue in Chic.

Price: £5.00

Time: 7:30pm
