August is here, and some fainthearted souls have fled the city. Not writLOUD, though. We're still here and putting on another event.
Our guest writer is Mez Packer, who'll be reading from her novel 'Among Thieves', described as a ‘highly original debut’ by the Guardian, longlisted for the Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award and shortlisted for ...the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best First Novel.
Mez will be joined by the pick of the current crop of Birkbeck student writers - details to be announced here shortly.
Admission is free of charge, but with a suggested donation to Oxfam of £3.50.
