Calling all poets! Are you this year’s Frome Festival Poet Laureate?
The winner will be picked on the night in a light-hearted slam-style audience vote. Just bring up to three short poems (3 minutes max) for a chance to walk away with that coveted title and a bottle of bubbly!
And that’s not all! Colossally-acclaimed Peter Wyton will open the Poetry Café in his own inimitable style as the BIN BAG BARD.
Widely published and broadcast, Peter is the darling of literary festivals nationwide and now brings his unique take on life to Frome. He’s been called ‘stimulating, sensual, and surreal’, and Guardian columnist George Monbiot says he’s a genius.
