Northern Lines is a poetry/prose reading event especially to encourage new writers living within travelling distance of the Lit & Phil, Newcastle (next to Central Station). Submissions have already been accepted for the next event on Mon 1 March 2010 and are now closed, BUT 10 to 15 minutes is kept free for anyone wishing to take their chance at Open Mike (names out of a hat). All accepted work performed at the event will be put into an anthology available on the night (at nominal charge). A glass of wine will be also be available at the interval. In addition to contributions of writers, we also need the contributions of listeners. Please come along and bring your friends. Admission is free. Start: 18:30 Finish: 20:30. See you there.
