Hammer & Tongue's bombastic 2010 season hits February with feature slots from two of the UK's most vibrant, lexically dextrous and politically charged spoken word artists, the inimitable Dizraeli and David J.

Dizraeli and David J form the bread part of the night's poetic sandwich, the rich and varied filling being provided by YOU, the slamming public and hosted by Angry Sam, Sophia Blackwell and Michelle Madsen.

The first 8 slammers to sing up on the door get in for free and have 3 minutes to perform their own original material to the audience. We appoint 5 random sets of judges on the night and the winner will go on to take part in the H&T London slam final in May, vying for a place at the H&T national final up against slam winners from Oxford, Brighton, Bath and Cambridge later in the summer.

Secret supper clubbers Rambling Restaurant will be providing some sort of unexpected sustanance... check out details at www.foodrambler.com
