Yes, the UNSUNG monkey is back and that can only mean one thing...issue 5 is ready to launch!! cue the woops, hollers and cries of elation!!
This issue has some fantastic articles in it and, as i'm sure you've come to expect by now, a huuuuge selection of poetry from some of Manchester's finest and newest!!
For some exciting news we have a brand new venue for the event which has got our toes here at UNSUNG tingling!! We have moved to THE CONTACT THEATRE (that's the big factory looking building on oxford road, behind manchester academy). We toured a few venues in Manchester and this one just wooed us with its charm, warmth and atmosphere...It's gonna be incredible!! We are in the cafe/bar area (we will message you with details of how to get there nearer the event)...
It's £2 on the door but we will be distributing copies of the magazine throughout the night and you will be witness to some fantastic performances by some of Manchester's finest...what more could you ask for?
So, bring a smile and a poem and we'll see you down there!!!
